CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

Pay: $25-35/hr. (Depending on experience level and/or Journeyman papers)

Shift: Monday-Friday (3pm to 11pm); voluntary OT may be available

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED
• Qualified applicants under a Machinist position will possess PA State Approved Journeyman Machinist or Journeyman Tool & Die Makers Papers
• Must be able to pass a working physical
• Knowledge of G+M codes a plus
• Ability to interpret Blueprints

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment
• Perform setups on CNC machines (Lathes, Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, and 5 axis Mills) safely and productively
• Layout components to verify stock for machinability
• Machine parts to drawing specifications utilizing CNC machine tools such as Vertical Turning Mills and Horizontal Boring Mills
• Edit CNC programs, as necessary
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using math for machining, ensure that components meet the drawing specifications utilizing a variety of inspection tools (micrometers, Vernier calipers)
