SummaryThe Manufacturing Coordinator I is accountable for productivity in the assigned area by ensuring availability of part(s), material, tooling and procedures as well as continuous monitoring of schedule performance. This position facilitates coordination with other functional areas of the company to continuously improve throughput in the assigned area.
Responsibilities- Perform day to day assessments of department progress for adherence to schedule
- Reviews upcoming jobs to ensure availability of necessary tools and materials
- Responsible for tracking performance to plan (hours)
- Monitor actual work progress in department and adjust resources if necessary
- Closely monitor work scope and identify, document and communicate out of scope work
- Coordinate storage requirements for incoming parts and completed parts
- Create Advice of Readiness (AOR) to initiate the shipment of components
- Applicants must possess an Associate's degreeor 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing processes at a custom engineered, made to order and/or job shop environment
- Working knowledge of computer systems and experience with Excel
- Basic SAP Skills
- The ability to effectively communicate on an individual and group basis and a personal track record that demonstrates the ability to generate and implement improvements/changes

- The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting (PPE required). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
