Machine Operator

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Prepare metal parts and fenders for polishing by locating, gathering, and checking materials and supplies for correctness and quality;
Perform polishing operations on metal fenders using machine polishers and hand tools to achieve high-quality cosmetic finishes;
Operate polishing equipment such as hand files, grinders, disks, rotary sanders, and abrasive wheels safely and efficiently;
Remove bumps, indentations, and imperfections from metal parts without stretching or cutting through the finished piece, while maintaining contours, edges, and dimensions;
Interpret and use a tape measure to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet required specifications
