Wire EDM Technician – New Standard Corporation

Location:

Hellam, PA | Full-Time; 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm) | Tool & Die Department

We're hiring a skilled Wire EDM Technician to program, set up, and operate EDM machines (including 4-axis) for high-precision die components and fixtures. You'll work from CAD files or manually, ensuring quality and tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and run EDM machines from Solid Works, AutoCAD, or DXF files
Perform troubleshooting & preventive maintenance
Use hole popper to create start holes in die blocks
Inspect components and ensure quality specs are met

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (required)
Tool & Die Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
3+ years Wire EDM operation experience (preferred)
Advanced blueprint reading, GD&T, and measurement skills
CAD/CAM proficiency (Solid Works, AutoCAD, Draft Site CAD)
