Industrial Painter
The Industrial Painter supports fabrication and assembly operations by preparing, blasting, and painting heavy industrial equipment using HVLP spray systems in a controlled booth environment. This role ensures all equipment receives the correct coatings and finishes according to specifications and quality standards.
1st shift 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday
Pay - $25-30/hr

Operate blast booths and paint booths to prepare and finish heavy industrial equipment.
Perform all paint preparation activities, including surface cleaning, masking, and priming, to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
Use HVLP spray systems to apply specified paints and coatings to each project according to work orders and supervisor instructions.
Follow detailed specifications, drawings, and instructions to achieve correct film thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
Handle and mix paints, coatings, and related materials in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
Inspect surfaces before and after painting to verify proper preparation, coverage, and overall quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area within blast and paint booths, including proper storage of materials and tools.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE, and follow facility policies and procedures.
Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to support production schedules and meet project deadlines.
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on spray equipment and booths to ensure reliable operation.
This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
