About the PositionLocum Jobs Online is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Critical Care NP in Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 84-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity starts on Apr 6, 2026, and features day shifts from 7a-5p with 7-14 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will work independently alongside an in-house Intensivist, managing high acuity patients and performing advanced procedures such as central line placement.

Critical Care Nurse Practitioner - Schedule:
Day shifts, 7a-5p; 7-14 shifts per month
- Manage high acuity patients in a critical care setting
- Perform advanced procedures, especially central line placement
- Work independently with Intensivist support available as backup
- Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient status
- Adhere to established protocols and standards of care
- Active Nurse Practitioner license required in Pennsylvania
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Must demonstrate strong clinical judgment and procedural competency in critical care
