Position: RN – Neuro ICU
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 4x12s
Flexibility to rotate Day/Night preferred
Weekends: Every Other Weekend
Local Rate: Less than posted  
Interview: Manager Interview Required

10-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) caring for critically ill stroke patients (ischemic & hemorrhagic), post-op neurosurgery, neuro-endovascular cases, and overflow medical ICU patients (18 ).

Procedures & care include:

• ICP monitoring & EVD management
• Post IV/IA tPA care
• Mechanical thrombectomy
• AVM & aneurysm repair
• Carotid stenting
• Craniotomy
• CRRT
• Ventilator & hemodynamic management
• Angiogram post-care & embolizations

May care for COVID patients.
Tobacco & fragrance-free facility (please notify travelers prior to submission).

• Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience
• Strong experience with EVD, ICP, angiogram post-care, CRRT, carotid, embolizations
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• EPIC experience required
• Willingness to float to other ICUs if needed
• First-time travelers considered

Strong neuro critical care experience is essential for consideration.
