Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts per week

• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts preferred

• One hardship shift may be required depending on assignment timeframe

• Every other weekend coverage required

• Holiday coverage as needed

• May be asked to float to other ICUs if needed

• Minimum 2 years Neuroscience ICU experience required

• Must have strong experience in EVD, ICP, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid, and embolization procedures

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• EPIC experience required

• Maximum 7 days requested time off

• 8-hour orientation provided

• Care for critically ill stroke patients, neurosurgery and neurology patients 18 years and older

• Provide post-operative care including ICP monitoring, mechanical thrombectomy, AVM repair, aneurysm repair, carotid stenting procedures

• Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and CRRT

• Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Manager interview required after clinical screening

The unit features state-of-the-art equipment and serves as an overflow unit for medical patients, maintaining high standards for specialized neurological care with interdisciplinary support services.
