Inpatient Nursing Manager- NICU

Days shift; 40 hours per week.

Manages nursing personnel and daily operational activities, leading the nursing team for assigned units or departments with responsibility for all operational functions. Collaborates with the Medical Director and Physician Liaison to provide administrative and medical staff support, develops and initiates improvements in delivery of high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care, and oversees nursing clinical practice, budgeting, personnel activities, regulatory compliance, and Electronic Medical Record support.

• Leads the nursing team and ensures adequate staffing and competent care delivery.
• Facilitates shared governance councils, evidence‑based practice, and magnet culture promotion.
• Provides mentorship, coaching, and professional development for team members.
• Identifies and implements nursing retention strategies and employee relations initiatives.
• Communicates performance expectations and goals, encouraging employee participation and accountability.
• Establishes and adjusts work‑hour statistics and budgets aligned with national benchmarks.
• Monitors revenue and expense reports, develops contingency plans, and maintains regulatory compliance.
• Co‑ordinates with other departments and services to maximize quality patient outcomes and address risk‑management issues.
• Facilitates interdisciplinary team collaboration and supports patient safety improvement and management programs.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required.
• Minimum three years of experience managing people, processes or projects.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania – required.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, clinical, communication, leadership and relationship‑building skills.
