Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Neuro)

York, PA

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30) | On-site | Call requirements apply

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a Neuro-focused Operating Room environment
• Support neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation: 1–2 call shifts per week (Monday–Thursday), with call beginning at end of shift through 7:00 the following morning
• Fulfill weekend call obligations: 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, covering end of shift Friday through 7:00 Monday
• Respond to callback within 30 minutes when on call
• May provide care for patients with infectious conditions per department protocols

• Active RN license with no license violations (hard stop)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgical experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC only
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates

• Strong proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity surgical setting

• Opportunity to work in a specialized Neuro OR environment utilizing advanced surgical techniques including robotics
• No scheduled weekend shifts — weekend obligation is call-based only, offering greater schedule predictability
