The new UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital that opened in August 2019 is a 98-bed hospital with all private patient rooms. This modern facility features acute and emergency medical care, cardiology and vascular services, robotics and surgical services, and much more. Case Assignments:
General, endo, ortho, L&D, and more. CRNAs are offered the opportunity to perform regional blocks at this location.

Shifts:

8's, 12's, and 24's (when available). No beeper call.

Team Highlights:

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
