Registered Nurse - General Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). Expected to work within the unit as needed.

The Registered Nurse in the General Operating Room will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Level I Trauma, robotic surgeries, and various specialties including general, gynecological, urology, and thoracic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate independently in the General Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Scrub and circulate for robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including general, gyn, urology, thoracic, and trauma surgeries.
• Participate in call rotations, providing coverage as needed.
• Deliver care to COVID-19 patients if required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Level I Trauma required;
  Level II Trauma experience preferred.
• Valid PA or compact nursing license required.
• Proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi and DV5 robotic systems.
• Experience with Epic charting system is highly preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA or ARC only).
