Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift - 4x10 Hour (06:00 - 16:30) with weekends as needed.
The Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse will work in a specialized unit that provides advanced cardiovascular treatments. The unit is equipped with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, completing over 6,000 procedures annually.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, device placements, and other cardiac procedures.
- Monitor and interpret patient responses during procedures.
- Administer medications and support procedural sedation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Current certifications: ACLS & BLS.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Ability to care for COVID-19 patients if necessary.
