Schedule:
Day shift
- Will work either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM, including weekends as needed.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Invasive Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in advanced cardiovascular treatments and must have the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in various invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
- Participate in pre-and post-procedure care, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to emergencies and provide care during critical situations with a 30-min response time.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an invasive cardiology or related setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
- Ability to float as needed and handle call requirements.
- Must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies, with exemptions allowed for medical/religious reasons.
