American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with EPIC experience and current ACLS/BLS certification for a high-volume invasive cardiology unit.

• Work in a high-volume Invasive Cardiology unit with 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs, 3 dedicated EP labs, and 2 shared cath/EP labs
• Unit includes 33 prep/recovery bays and completes over 6,000 procedures annually
• Exposure to advanced cardiovascular treatments including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant, cardioversion, and peripheral intervention
• Day shift scheduling with 8 or 10-hour shifts between 6am-7pm
• Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Call required with a 30-minute response time
• No holiday coverage required

• Active RN license (Compact or PA state license required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, sheath removal, vascular closure systems, and arrhythmia interpretation/management
• Experience with procedural sedation monitoring, IV therapy, and central line/PICC line care
• Ability to obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG

• Provide direct patient care in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and pulmonary procedure settings
• Care for patients pre and post procedure, including monitoring for dysrhythmias and procedural sedation
• Potential exposure to COVID-19 patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered
• Travel pairs accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
