Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Easton-Nazareth Highway in Easton. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of store presentation.
Responsibilities- Staff Leadership: Assign duties, guide clerks, ensure proper coverage and adherence to policies and procedures; collaborate with the General Manager on staff training, performance reviews, and other operational functions
- Customer Support: Assist shoppers by locating products, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopping experience
- Store Operations: Oversee opening and closing tasks, maintain store readiness, and ensure security procedures are followed
- Merchandising and Inventory: Ensure stock levels and product displays are maintained, assist with inventory management, and ensure equipment is used safely
- Order Management: Coordinate licensee orders, verify accuracy, and ensure timely preparation and pickup
- Foster Teamwork: Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment, working collaboratively to create an atmosphere where every day brings new challenges and rewards

- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
- One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of lead retail sales work.
- You must meet the PA residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
