As an Access Control Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, verify access, and support daily site operations through visible presence, routine activity, and strong communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and/or entry documentation at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and/or receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report unusual activity according to site policies.

+ Respond to incidents, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.

+ Support security-related operations by screening visitors, verifying deliveries and/or pickup activity, issuing temporary access materials, and documenting routine and unusual events.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and/or designated access points as directed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
