Welder
The Welder is responsible for cutting stainless steel pipe to precise specifications, attaching appropriate fittings, and operating an orbital welding machine to complete high-quality welds. While the role involves minimal hands-on manual welding, a solid understanding of welding processes and strong attention to detail are essential to ensure that all cuts and welds are accurate, consistent, and visually uniform.
Essential Skills
- Understanding of welding processes and principles.
- Ability to operate welding-related equipment, including orbital welding machines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise cuts, proper fitting attachment, and uniform weld appearance.
- Capability to follow technical instructions and production procedures accurately.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for working with pipe systems and fittings.
Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of East York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
