The Electro-mechanic I works with Mechanical, Electrical systems on production equipment and Maintenance teams. This position is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical installations, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. The Electro-mechanic I must have familiarity of Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) systems. In addition, this position will support the overall facility maintenance including but not limited to: basic plumbing, snow removal, event preparation, basic construction, painting, etc.

The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently, utilizing good work practices as part of a maintenance team or when working independently with minimal supervision. They will adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.

Additional responsibilities will include: periodic training of proper system and machine operation and maintenance, assistance with creating SOP and other related documentation and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance to departmental, production, safety and Company meetings.

Essential Secondary - % of Time - Description

• E - 40% - Mechanical Maintenance:
  · Corrective and breakdown maintenance of all equipment:
  Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, manufacturers' specifications or supervisor'sin structions, using hand and power tools, precision measuring or testing devices.
  · Diagnose machine malfunction and determine the need for adjustment or repair
  · Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part
  · Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part
  · Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction
  · Basic fabrication and repair of all necessary equipment
• E - 25% - Preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment
  · Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment, following preventive maintenance schedule to ensure all machinery is in good, safe working order
• E - 15% - Electrical Maintenance:
  · Perform testing, diagnostic, maintenance and troubleshooting work on machine tools and systems including: NC and CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  · Perform maintenance and repairs on plant power distribution systems
  
  Apply electrical knowledge to research and identify electrical components and parts
• E - 10% - Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds (including snow removal, basic plumbing, HVAC and basic carpentry, etc.)
• E - 10% - Installing, troubleshooting and upgrading of all equipment;
  · Ability to install conduit, electrical wiring, air/water/hydraulic piping or any additional systems required for proper machine installation with direction from senior Technicians, engineering or supervision.
  · Read blue prints, schematic drawings and diagrams in order to properly and safely install machinery
  · Assembles and test operates machine to verify safe working order and proper functionality
