Field Service Technician Apprentice

Engel Machinery Inc., a global leader in plastic injection molding, automation, and robotics, is hiring four Field Service Technician Apprentices to join its nationally recognized apprenticeship program.

This paid training program is designed for mechanically inclined individuals who want to build a long-term career servicing advanced manufacturing equipment. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll transition into a full-time Field Service Technician role.

What You'll Learn:

Machine installation and commissioning
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Preventive maintenance and repairs
Hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automation
Customer service and technical support

What You'll Do:

Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
Learn alongside experienced Field Service Technicians
Complete hands-on technical training
Build expertise on industry-leading plastic injection molding equipment
Deliver exceptional customer support

What We're Looking For:

Mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work
Trade school graduates or individuals with 2+ years of electro-mechanical, industrial maintenance, automotive, electrical, or similar technical experience
Willing to travel up to 90% of the time after training
Able to temporarily relocate to York, PA for the initial 3–4 month training program
Eager to learn and build a long-term technical career
