The Position
Fulton County Services for Children is searching for Caseworkers to join our team in a supportive learning environment. Fulton County offers longevity bonuses and a health care package for our employees. Come join our team and shape the future of services for our children and their families.
Description of WorkThis job includes the provision and monitoring of services to families to assist them in meeting their health, safety and wellbeing needs of their children, placement services for children, and services to reunify the children with family or to find permanence in a timely manner. Workers have the opportunity to receive on‑job training as well as training from the Child Welfare Resource Center.
This agency also conducts assessments made to Childline or to our agency regarding the safety and well‑being of children in Fulton County. Workers have the opportunity to coordinate and partner with other community resources to assist families in addressing their areas of concern.
- Full‑time employment.
- Work Hours:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM;
Monday‑Friday; 30‑minute lunch. - Mandatory on‑call rotation.
- Telework: no telework option in this position.

- Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; or
- Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program; or
- A bachelor’s degree with a social welfare major; or
- A bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social service agency; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree or credits.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license that is not under suspension.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI fingerprint clearance.
