High Reach Forklift Operator

We are seeking skilled forklift operators to supply assemblers with materials for production and transport completed parts to the shipping area for delivery. Operators may also work in shipping/receiving to load trucks with completed parts ready for dispatch. Candidates must be proficient in operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities:

• Supply materials to assemblers for production.
• Transport completed parts to the shipping area.
• Load trucks with completed parts for shipment.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

Essential

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating forklifts, both stand-up and sit-down models.
• Material handling experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in tight quarters.
• Strong attention to safety due to high forklift and personnel traffic.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a forklift safety and proficiency test.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and customer-focused, with tight quarters requiring strong attention to safety. The facility is not climate controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. As a union environment, employees are expected to pay union dues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.21 - $21.21/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
