Local Drivers help keep everything moving—and our customers happy. In this role, you'll make sure the right products get where they need to go, safely and on time. You'll handle local deliveries between our sites and customer locations, playing a big part in keeping our operations running smoothly. This job offers steady daytime hours, regular home time, and the chance to make a real difference every day.
This position is scheduled to work 3rd Shift, 11pm-7am.
Weekly pay starting at $27.10 per hour and up. Benefits effective immediately (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k with match).
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Drive and deliver materials safely across local routes connecting company facilities, warehouses, and customer sites.
- Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Secure loads using appropriate equipment and ensure cargo is protected during transport.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and other required documentation, including delivery records and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure delivery accuracy and resolve issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including those specific to loading docks, forklifts, and packaging environments.
- Provide routine vehicle maintenance checks and notify appropriate personnel of any mechanical issues.
- Support warehouse operations and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
- Clean driving record in accordance with company and DOT standards.
- Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
- Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles including straight trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks with small trailers.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
