CDL Truck Driver - Class A
Motor Technology, Inc., a national leader in providing superior quality and value in electro-mechanical repairs and services to our customers, is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver. Since 1981, we have been an integral part of keeping national industries up and running smoothly and efficiently. We are a family-owned company that builds, services, and sells industrial motors, controls, gearboxes, and related driven equipment for advanced electric motor systems.
Our drivers are responsible for transporting various freight to and from customers in a safe and timely manner.
The hours for this position are 7:00AM-3:30PM with a half hour unpaid lunch break.
Responsibilities:
- Drive GU173 Mack flatbed and F550 flatbeds
- Deliver and pick-up freight
- Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Perform inspections of vehicle before and after deliveries
- Maintain communication with all resources associated with deliveries and pick-ups
- Support MTI by building rapport with customers
- Adhere to all company and customer Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality Management protocols
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Class A CDL
- Legible handwriting
- Safe driving record
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility to perform duties other than those listed
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Willing to work overtime, and some weekends and holidays
