The Material Handler is responsible for performing shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement activities to support operations. This role operates powered industrial equipment (including forklifts) to safely and efficiently receive , store, move, and deliver raw materials, finished goods, and supplies while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards.
Job Duties- Perform duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Complete shipments by processing, staging, and loading orders accurately and on time.
- Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts) and warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Schedule, move, weigh, stock, receive, and pack inbound and/or outbound warehouse products.
- Load and unload trucks following established procedures.
- Utilize JDE, RFS, and RF technology to transact inventory movements, receipts, and shipments.
- Deliver raw materials and supplies to designated work centers to support production.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels and participating in cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Ensure correct labeling, packaging, documentation, and storage of materials.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
- Complete all required documentation fully, accurately, and in a timely manner .
- Adhere to 5S standards, including maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, including experience operating powered industrial equipment.
- Powered industrial equipment certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to perform work under direct supervision.
- Ability to handle basic issues and problems and elevate more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possess beginning to working knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling practices.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems and RF technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, including experience operating powered industrial equipment.
- Powered industrial equipment certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to perform work under direct supervision.

- Maintains inventory accuracy through proper transactions and documentation
- Identifies and addresses damaged or incorrect materials
- Operates forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Performs basic equipment inspections prior to use
- Follows traffic patterns and load-handling best practices
- Ensures correct labeling, packaging, and documentation
- Verifies quantities, locations, and part numbers
- Completes paperwork and system entries accurately
- Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Adheres to 5S and continuous improvement standards
