- Dedicate 20% of your week to training, with the remainder spent gaining hands‑on experience in a vibrant, nurturing environment.

- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support children’s developmental milestones and keep parents informed with updates.

- GCSE level education and experience working with children is preferred for a level 3 role.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- A positive, proactive approach to learning and teamwork.
- A commitment to completing your apprenticeship tasks and training with enthusiasm.
- Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required, and that of drinking numerous cups of pretend tea
- You must have the ability to read a ten-page fairy-tale, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page
- Having a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special
- You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to be a large part of your working day
- Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families; there is simply no other job quite like this one

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
