Workshop Supervisor (Day Shift)(Commercial Vehicle Worksop) We currently have a vacancy for a Workshop Supervisor to join our busy Brighouse Depot. Shift Options 42 Hour Week 4 on 4 off pattern working Hours 7am to 7pm Basic Salary = £47,000 + Overtime (Opportunity to earn well into the 50's)
Workshop Supervisor Role- People Management
- Supervising technicians, apprentices, and workshop staff.
- Allocating work based on skill level and priorities.
- Monitoring attendance, timekeeping, and performance.
- Conducting toolbox talks and one-to-one meetings.
- Supporting training and development.
- Planning daily workflow and scheduling repairs.
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to manufacturer or company standards.
- Managing workshop capacity and resource allocation.
- Liaising with service advisors, parts departments, and fleet customers.
- Monitoring work-in-progress and removing bottlenecks.
- Appropriate technical qualifications.
- Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs
- MOT preparation experience
- Supervisory Experience in a Commercial Vehicle Worksop
