As an HVAC Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of commercial HVAC equipment. You will test components, subassemblies, and complete systems to verify functionality, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong HVAC knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

• Conduct comprehensive testing of commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation components.
• Evaluate equipment performance, efficiency, and safety against established standards and specifications.
• Utilize specialized testing equipment to measure airflow, pressure, temperature, and system operation.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot defects or malfunctions in HVAC equipment and components.
• Analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Recommend repairs, adjustments, or enhancements based on testing outcomes.

• Follow production and testing schedules to ensure timely completion of testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with production and assembly teams to verify proper installation, wiring, and system functionality.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of testing procedures and protocols.
• Assist production operations as needed to support customer delivery commitments.

• Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and corrective actions.
• Create accurate reports and documentation to support quality and compliance requirements.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Stay current on industry trends, standards, and best practices.

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• HVAC Trade School Certification, Technical Diploma, or related education.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, components, and operations.
• Experience using HVAC testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting principles.
