We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing Service Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of technical equipment at customer sites.
You’ll work closely with customers to ensure their systems are running efficiently, providing expert support and building strong working relationships along the way. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in the field.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions
- Working closely with customers and contractors on-site
- Coordinating with the service team to plan and deliver service visits
- Participating in an on-call rota with fellow engineers
- Providing technical advice, support and training to customers
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation
- Keeping up to date with product developments and industry standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
- A strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, with a willingness to continue learning
- The ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively in a hands-on environment
- Confidence in communicating with customers and building positive working relationships
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time across multiple jobs
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to working safely and following company and site procedures
- Attention to detail when completing service reports and documentation
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays
