-We have an exciting opportunity for a Solar PV Labourer to join our team and develop their skills within the renewable energy industry.

As a Solar PV Labourer, you'll support experienced installers with the safe and efficient installation of Solar PV systems. You'll gain hands‑on experience, develop technical skills and learn about GSE and Viridian systems while working to high safety and quality standards.

You'll assist with tools, equipment and materials, help maintain a safe and tidy site, work as part of the installation team and take part in ongoing training. Occasional nights away from home may be required.

You are a hands-on, reliable and hardworking individual looking to develop your skills within the Solar PV industry. You'll be a strong team player with good communication skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude. You'll be comfortable working outdoors and at heights and willing to learn and develop new skills. A good work ethic, willingness to take direction and commitment to doing a job to a high standard are essential, as you'll work closely with experienced installers to ensure every installation is completed safely and efficiently.

• 1st fix installation of back plates and battens
  • Detail:
    Installation of all back plates, additional battens, fixing clamps to ensure all items are installed to each relevant manufacturer's instructions
  • % Of Time Spent: 45%
  • Frequency:
    Weekly
  • Measured Outcome:
    Achieve 20 to 25 panels installations per day
• 1st fix installation of Solar PV panels
  • Detail:
    Installation of solar PV panels, ensuring all panels are correctly linked together with no trapped cables and all panels secured into place and double checked
  • % Of Time Spent: 45%
  • Frequency:
    Weekly
  • Measured Outcome:
    Achieve 20 to 25 panels installations per day
• Non-standard installation
  • Detail:
    The installation of large non standard arrays will require each system being installed to the manufactures instructions. Large arrays may require multi-day planning and occasional overnight stays
  • % Of Time Spent: 5%
  • Frequency:
    As and when
  • Measured Outcome: 100% of large non-standard arrays installed in line with manufacturer instructions and relevant  required from time to time
• DC Voltage reading and the correct completion of all forms
  • Detail: DC voltage reading is essential to be shown for all installation, along with correctly completing all device magic & field aware forms
  • % Of Time Spent: 5%
  • Frequency:
    Daily
  • Measured Outcome: 100% completed DC and forms, any issues must be highlighted straight away
