13.50- 14.00p/h DOE, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Overtime at x1.5, Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Semi Skilled Mechanic to join a growing company operating from a modern workshop in Heckmondwike
. This is a great opportunity to build a career within the automotive industry without any formal qualifications.
The semi skilled mechanic role will involve dismantling
LCV and commercial vehicles
, removing previously installed vehicle modifications, equipment and components using a range of hand and power tools.
This semi skilled mechanic position would be ideal for someone with experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Breakers Yard / Salvage Yard Operative
. We would also be keen to hear from apprentice-trained or semi-skilled HGV Fitters, PCV Fitters, Hydraulic Engineers or Mechanical Fitters
.
- Mechanical fitting or working with Vehicles in some capacity
- May have experience working in a breakers yard or salvage yard - removing vehicle parts using hand and power tools
- Confident with hand and powers
- Full training will be given
- 13.50- 14p/h starting
