Dance Innovations in Yorkton, Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced and passionate Ballet Program Lead to guide and elevate our ballet department within a vibrant, growing studio community. This leadership role is ideal for an educator who values technical excellence, artistry, and the development of confident, well-rounded dancers in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Dance Innovations operates within a 14,000 square foot, fully equipped studio, offering exceptional space and resources to support a comprehensive ballet program from Primary in Dance through Advanced Ballet.
The Ballet Program Lead is responsible for the overall direction, consistency, and growth of the ballet program. This includes maintaining high technical standards, supporting dancer progression, mentoring faculty, and fostering a positive, encouraging atmosphere that aligns with studio values and long‑term vision.
Responsibilities include delivering syllabus-based ballet instruction, ensuring curriculum consistency across all levels, preparing dancers for examinations and performances, and communicating professionally with studio leadership.
Qualifications- Registered Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Teacher – required
- Experience teaching a wide range of ages and levels
- Strong understanding of healthy dancer development
- Supportive, professional leadership style
