Join Valard Construction as a Powerline Technician in Saskatchewan and apply your skills in electrical distribution systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in constructing and maintaining power lines and equipment.

This position requires a Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certification or a fourth-year Apprentice with relevant experience. You will work directly under the Foreman to install, maintain, and repair both overhead and underground electrical systems, often in varying work conditions such as heights or confined spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain overhead and underground power cables

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution systems

• Operate specialized tools like splicing kits and cable pulling rigs

• Conduct safety switching of high-voltage equipment

• Collaborate with engineers and crew to streamline project completion

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certification required

• 4th year Apprentices will be considered

• Proven experience in power distribution

• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and safety

• Valid driver's license required
