About Us
LaFrance Cleaners is a well-established, locally owned dry cleaning and laundry business serving the Mahoning Valley. We take pride in our attention to detail, our loyal client base, and a team culture where people stay — many of our team members have been with us for years, some for decades. We're a fast-paced, client-focused operation, and the people who thrive here are the ones who take ownership of their work and genuinely care about getting things right.
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, organized self-starter to join our leadership team. You'll work directly with the company owner and serve as the communication hub of the business — managing client relationships, coordinating marketing programs, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
* This is not a role for someone who needs close supervision. We need someone who can identify what needs to be done and do it — someone who brings structure to the people around them, not someone who needs structure provided for them.*
What You'll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound client communications via phone, email, text, social media, and our POS system — with warmth, professionalism, and follow-through
- Act as the primary point of contact for client questions, issues, and escalations
- Coordinate and implement our marketing calendar, including email, text, social media, print, and promotional programs
- Work with our external marketing partners and accounting firm
- Support team leaders across retail and production with company-wide communication
- Administer job postings, candidate interviews, and new hire onboarding
- Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports for leadership
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and manage follow-through on action items
- Maintain office and store supply inventory
- Support the owner on special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional people skills — you are warm, confident, and clients enjoy interacting with you
- Strong attention to detail — you catch errors, follow processes precisely, and don't cut corners
- Highly organized and self-directed — you manage your own priorities without being told what to do
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, POS or CRM systems)
- Associates degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar administrative or operations role
What We Offer
- $18–$20 per hour based on experience
- Paid time off
- Monday–Friday schedule — no nights or weekends
- A stable, team-oriented workplace where long tenure is the norm
- Direct access to and partnership with company ownership
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Paid time off
