Business Development Representative; Hybrid BDR​/Receptionist

Job Title

Jim Shorkey Auto Group is seeking an energetic and organized Business Development Representative to join our team. This hybrid role combines customer outreach with front desk responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, multitasking, and creating exceptional first impressions.

Business Development:

• Respond promptly to incoming internet and phone inquiries.
• Contact customers via phone, text, and email to schedule appointments.
• Follow up with sales leads and previous customers.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM.
• Confirm appointments and assist in generating showroom traffic.
• Support the sales team with lead management and customer communication.

Reception:

• Greet customers as they enter the dealership.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks and paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous customer service, receptionist, call center, or BDC experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a professional appearance.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
