The Department of Dermatology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Physician to enhance our excellent patient care. Appointment at the level of Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor is available, depending on experience. Academic appointment, rank, and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification. Compensation is highly competitive.

A Brief Overview
Provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice or for a specific patient population.
What You Will Do
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate.
- Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components as needed.
- Train and supervise medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures.
- Manage daily operations of a medical program, patient care unit, or research function if applicable.
- Coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement initiatives, and safety standards.
- Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as appropriate.
- Maintain departmental productivity thresholds.
- Maintain faculty status with CWRU SOM if applicable.
- Adhere to physician obligations outlined in the Physician Policy Manual.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Follow departmental documentation during orientation.
- Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) with annual training and compliance with UH policies.
