Position: Athletic Administrator – Grades 7–12
Work Year: 240 Days
Reports To: High School Principal
Salary: Based on Experience
General Description:
Administers the interscholastic athletic program for grades 7–12 and works cooperatively with the high school principal in the overall operation of the school. This position is responsible for implementing and adhering to policies adopted by the Board of Education.
Qualifications:
- Preferred State of Ohio Secondary School Principal’s Certificate
- Preferred Master’s Degree in Administration
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful high school teaching experience desired
- Coaching experience
- Demonstrated management, human relations, and instructional leadership skills
- Ability to work successfully within a management team structure
- Thorough knowledge of OHSAA rules and bylaws, district athletic policies, and conference regulations
- Knowledge of technology applications related to athletic administration
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
