Part-time Faculty, Mechanical Engineering

Summary of Position

Teach classes in stress, advanced stress, and finite element analysis. Duties include developing and teaching courses at the Junior level and above in these three areas.

Position Information

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students promptly. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university-provided tools and resources.

Qualifications and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

At least an earned Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Significant experience with industry consulting and university teaching in the stress analysis area as well as a Professional Engineers License.
