Part-time Faculty, Teacher Education and Leadership Studies

Summary of Position

Teach Research Courses, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise in research methodology; serve as a methodologist for dissertation students, offering guidance and support throughout their dissertation journey; facilitate engaging and interactive classroom experiences, fostering a dynamic learning environment; collaborate with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and align it with industry best practices; stay abreast of current trends and developments in research methodology to continually enhance instructional approaches;

provide timely feedback, assessment, and support to students, promoting their academic and professional growth.

Position Information

Work Schedule:

Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments will be remote for this program.

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Qualifications and Competencies

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures:
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned doctoral degree in a relevant field, with a strong emphasis on research methodology; at least three years of experience in teaching and/or mentoring graduate-level students, preferably in a dissertation setting; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts. Passion for supporting doctoral students in their research journey and a commitment to their academic success. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
