This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Youngstown, OH for a Lead Teacher at Alta Head Start. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities that support the cognitive, social‑emotional, and physical development of children. They will collaborate with other staff to maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, promote family engagement, and participate in the ongoing training and professional development provided by the organization.

The Lead Teacher will also ensure compliance with Head Start performance standards and other relevant regulations.

• Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans and educational strategies
• Strong teaching and training skills, with a focus on early childhood education
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues
• Experience in early education and/or program development is highly beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of Head Start performance standards and child development best practices is preferred
