Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Work ScheduleTypically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days. Presence both on the YSU campus and online, depending on program and student needs.
Primary LocationYoungstown.
Required Certifications, Training, and/or LicensuresCITI training required or completed at time of hire. Maintain an active license in the State of Ohio if required by discipline.
Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization StatusMust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum QualificationsPhD in a Health Science or related health field; evidence of scholarly activity (e.g., peer-reviewed publications, presentations, or research dissemination); evidence of teaching at university level. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred QualificationsRecord of peer-reviewed publications, experience securing or contributing to externally funded grants, experience teaching graduate-level coursework, experience serving on thesis or dissertation committees. Established research agenda.
Physical RequirementsWorks in a sedentary environment. Performs tasks that require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. May involve walking or standing for brief periods. Required to meet corresponding criteria.
