Part‑time Faculty, Teacher Education (Undergraduate Courses)

Youngstown, OH. Position within the Department of Teacher Education, Beeghly College of Education.

• Teach part‑time courses based on department needs each semester.
• Courses may be offered in Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Adolescent/Young Adult, Literacy, Art, Health Education, Music, and Physical Education.
• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction according to the approved syllabus.
• Hold weekly office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
• Grade all course projects and exams and submit final grades via the YSU Banner system.
• Communicate with students, departments, and university officials using university‑provided tools and resources.
• Provide feedback to promote and direct student success.

• At least a Master's degree in education.
• Minimum of 3 years P‑12 teaching experience.
• Current teaching license.
• Expertise in one or more content areas.
• Willingness to teach on‑campus, off‑campus, distance learning, and/or hybrid courses.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

• Terminal degree.
• College teaching experience.
• Understanding of the accreditation process.
• Knowledge of technology used in teaching.
