Part-Time Faculty, Chemistry - Chemical & Biological Sciences

Position Summary

Part‑time faculty who teach courses and labs in Chemistry within the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, teaching, and providing timely feedback to promote student success. Faculty also execute lecture and lab sections, respond promptly to student inquiries, and communicate with the department chair and other university officials.

• Work Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, mostly late afternoon or early evening; assignments may be remote or at various sites.
• Employment:
  Part‑time faculty pooled positions; appointments on an as‑needed/rolling basis.

• Minimum:
  Earned master’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline in the physical sciences; must have authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
• Preferred:
  PhD in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Additional:
  None. No required certifications, training, or licensures for this position.

Primarily sedentary work; may involve exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently for lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects, including the human body.
