Responsibilities
- Teaches courses in management/business administration, both face‑to‑face and web‑based, at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Plans, organizes, provides feedback and promotes student success.
- Responds to students in a timely manner and communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
- Engages with the business community and profession, contributes to ongoing development of teaching, and conducts research in the discipline, leading to presentations and publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Contributes to the department, college and university in ways that support strategic priorities.
- An earned PhD or DBA in Management or Business Administration, or a related field from an AACSB‑accredited institution by time of appointment.
- Experience teaching courses in management or business administration.
- Experience conducting research in applicant’s discipline.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Teaching experience.
- Ability to apply management‑related knowledge/skills to business situations and applications in a hands‑on learning environment.
- Experience collaborating in the business community.
- Professional work experience.
Typically Monday through Friday, including some evenings and occasional weekend days.
Primary LocationYoungstown.
Required Certifications, Training, and/or LicensuresNone.
Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization StatusMust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Physical RequirementsIn accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work: occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, primarily sitting but may require brief walking or standing.
Position Start DateBeginning fall semester 2026 (August) or spring semester 2027 (January).
