Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in Theatre and/or Dance as assigned by the department chair. Responsibilities include developing and submitting course syllabi, planning and updating curriculum, delivering engaging instruction, assessing student performance, and submitting grades in accordance with university deadlines. Regular communication with students, support departmental goals, and collaborate with faculty colleagues to foster a dynamic learning environment.
Plan, organize, teach, and provide feedback to promote and direct student success. Respond promptly to student inquiries. Communicate with students, departments, and university officials via university-provided tools and resources.
Work ScheduleTypically Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.

Sponsorship and Work Authorization StatusMust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum QualificationsAt least an earned bachelor’s degree in dance, theatre arts, or a related field.
Preferred QualificationsEarned Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theatre or Dance. Demonstrated experience teaching acting, play writing, directing, or dance.
Physical RequirementsMedium work: the position will involve exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
