Part-time Faculty, Middle Childhood Education - Teacher Education and Leadership Studies

Position Overview

Part‑time Faculty Instructor in Middle Childhood Education for the Teacher Education and Leadership Studies Division, in multiple locations.

• Plan, organize, teach, and provide feedback on undergraduate content‑methods courses in math, science, social studies, or English.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom experiences and foster a dynamic learning environment.
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance and align curriculum with industry best practices.
• Stay abreast of current trends and developments in content methods to continually improve instructional approaches.
• Provide timely feedback, assessment, and support to students, promoting academic and professional growth.

Typically Monday through Friday; teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.

• Earned master’s degree in content area or education with content focus.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work. Sedentary work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
