Early Childhood Education, Elementary School
Teach courses in the Pre‑K Associates program. Provide in-depth knowledge of early childhood education. Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom experiences and foster a dynamic learning environment. Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and align it with industry best practices. Stay abreast of current trends and developments in elementary education and special education to continually enhance instructional approaches. Provide timely feedback, assessment, and support to students, promoting their academic and professional growth.
Must be able to provide regular in‑person instruction as assigned.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments will be face to face at the Steubenville campus.

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None
Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Minimum Qualifications: At least an earned bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field; 5 years successful experience working in a pre‑school; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: An earned master's in early childhood education or related field. Experience managing a pre‑school.
Physical Requirements: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.
Sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
