The Early Childhood Education Supervisor is a full-time, on‑site position based in the Youngstown‑Warren area. This role oversees early childhood education programs, ensuring high‑quality, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with Head Start and Early Head Start standards. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include supervising teaching staff, supporting lesson planning and curriculum implementation, monitoring classroom practices, and promoting a safe, inclusive learning environment. The supervisor collaborates with education, behavioral health, and family support teams to coordinate services, track child progress, and ensure compliance with regulatory and program requirements.

The role also involves mentoring staff, facilitating professional development, engaging families as partners in their child’s education, and contributing to continuous program improvement.

• Candidates should possess strong Educational Management and leadership skills, with experience supervising early childhood education staff or programs.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, ensuring alignment with early childhood standards and Head Start/Early Head Start requirements.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support staff, and engage families effectively.
• Candidates should possess a background in Education or Early Childhood Education, with knowledge of child development, classroom practices, and inclusive learning environments.
• Relevant qualifications may include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field; experience in Head Start or similar programs; familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards; and the ability to work with diverse populations and maintain trauma‑informed, culturally responsive practices.
