Qualifications:

Education:

Valid Ohio Teaching License required ELA licensure (grades K-12 or appropriate grade band) preferred. K-12 Reading Endorsement on Ohio teaching license preferred. Bachelor's degree in Education required;
Master's degree in Education, Reading, or Literacy preferred. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience, including ELA or literacy instruction. Demonstrated knowledge of Ohio's Learning Standards for English Language Arts. Experience implementing evidence-based literacy practices and structured literacy instruction. Knowledge of and experience with MTSS/RtI frameworks and tiered instructional support. Experience administering and interpreting literacy screeners and diagnostic assessments to identify students erience using student data to drive instructional decisions.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with adult learners as a coach, mentor, and professional development facilitator. Adhere to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators. Must have successful BCI & FBI background checks. Must have successful drug test results. Must be willing and able to carry out the duties of the job description. Must perform any additional duties as assigned by building/district administration.
