Casting Estimator

This role is ideal for someone who can interpret engineered drawings and translate project requirements into accurate, competitive quotes. You'll collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quotes are complete, clear, and aligned with project specifications.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings to identify all relevant components impacting cost and scope
• Prepare accurate and timely quotes based on project requirements and specifications
• Follow up on quotes with customers, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure completion and clarity
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers regarding quotes and project details
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to develop and maintain detailed quoting work papers
• Manage and respond to communications efficiently using Microsoft Outlook

• Strong ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
• Detail-oriented with the ability to translate project requirements into accurate pricing
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and proactively ask questions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, including company processes, systems, and operations
• Willingness to build a deeper understanding of operations to improve quote accuracy and quality

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Some flexibility may be required based on workload and business needs
